Is CJC-1295 FDA-approved?

Not approved by the FDA. Products sold online as "research chemicals" aren't checked for purity, sterility or dose.

Is CJC-1295 banned in sport?

Banned in sport by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Overview

CJC-1295 is a modified GHRH (1-29) with a chemical "hook" (the Drug Affinity Complex, or DAC) that latches onto albumin. In 2006 studies in healthy adults, one shot raised growth hormone 2- to 10-fold for 6 days or more and IGF-1 for 9–11 days. Its developer later stopped working on it. Products sold as "CJC-1295 no DAC" are a different peptide (see Mod GRF 1-29).

How it works

It binds GHRH receptors in the pituitary like natural GHRH, but because it rides on albumin, it keeps stimulating growth hormone release for days.

How long does CJC-1295 stay in the body?

About 6–8 days in healthy adults.
