Is GHRP-6 FDA-approved?

Not approved by the FDA. Products sold online as "research chemicals" aren't checked for purity, sterility or dose.

Is GHRP-6 banned in sport?

Banned in sport by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Overview

GHRP-6 was made in the 1980s, before ghrelin itself was discovered, and helped researchers find the ghrelin receptor. Human studies used it mainly as a test of growth hormone release. Animal studies suggest it may protect the heart and other tissues, but that hasn't been shown in people.

How it works

It switches on the ghrelin receptor, which releases growth hormone and strongly increases appetite.

How long does GHRP-6 stay in the body?

Short; not well established.
