GLP-1 shot day calendar file

Pick the day and time of your shot and how often it repeats, then download one calendar event that repeats until you delete it.

One event, "Shot day", on your day and time, every week, every 2 weeks or every day

The event holds only its title. "Shot day" names no medicine or amount, so alerts and shared calendars show nothing private.

Worked example

Pick Sunday, 8:00 AM and Every week. The file holds one event called "Shot day" on the next Sunday at 8:00 AM, repeating each Sunday, with an alert at that time.

How the math works

The file is a standard .ics calendar file. Its event repeats with a rule such as RRULE:FREQ=WEEKLY;INTERVAL=1;BYDAY=SU, so your calendar keeps adding the next one. The time carries no time zone, so your calendar reads it as local time and 8:00 AM stays 8:00 AM when the clocks change.

The title is the only text in the event. "Shot day" names no medicine and no amount, so an alert on your Lock Screen or a shared calendar shows nothing private. Keep that in mind if you change it.

It runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page, and nothing is saved.

Questions

What's the best day for my shot?

The labels don't name one: Zepbound, Mounjaro, Ozempic and Wegovy can be taken at any time of day, with or without meals. Pick the day you're most likely to keep.

Can I change my shot day?

The Zepbound and Mounjaro labels allow it as long as two shots are at least 3 days (72 hours) apart; the Ozempic label says at least 2 days (48 hours). Then download a new file for the new day and delete the old event.

How do I add the file to my calendar?

Open the file you downloaded. iPhone, Mac and Outlook calendars offer to add the event. In Google Calendar on a computer, go to Settings, then Import & export.
