How long will my vial last?

Type what's in your vial, the amount you take each shot and the days between shots, all from your own instructions. Add the date of your first shot from it to see the last one.

Shots in the vial = what's in the vial ÷ amount per shot, rounded down

days

This does arithmetic on the numbers you type. It doesn't suggest a dose. Check the result with your prescriber or pharmacist. It can't know your vial's beyond-use date, so check your pharmacy label.

The vial holds

–shots

Fill in the vial, each shot and the days

Worked example

A 10 mg vial at 1 mg every 7 days holds 10 shots. Starting on Monday, Nov 2, 2026, the last one is on Monday, Jan 4, 2027, and the shot after that, on Jan 11, needs a new vial.

How the math works

The page divides what's in the vial by the amount per shot and rounds down, because a part shot can't be drawn. The last shot is the first one plus the days between shots, times the shots after the first.

It assumes every bit can be drawn. Some liquid stays in the vial and needle, so a vial can run out a little sooner. If the vial is in mL, a shot in syringe units works too: a unit on a U-100 syringe is 0.01 mL.

It runs in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page, and nothing is saved.

Questions

How many shots are in a vial?

Divide what's in the vial by the amount per shot, then round down. A 10 mg vial at 0.25 mg a shot holds 40.

How long is a mixed vial good for?

Your pharmacy's label gives a beyond-use date. Use the vial by that date even if some is left, and ask your pharmacist if the label doesn't say. This page can't know it.

What if my vial is in mg and I draw units?

Units are a volume, so the page needs the same kind of unit for both. Turn your units into mg first with the peptide calculator.
